MMS Hub Solution

SSPEC's MMS Hub solution has proven to be robust and easily integrated to MM3/MM4 protocol networks. This solution is able to support the delivery of MM within and across different mobile operators’ networks.

• The MMS Hub could comply with all current and future standards related to MMS and is not limited to 3G/3GPP only (see diagram above).

• The MMS Hub is able to generate detailed records based on the following criteria:
  a) The total number of MM sent and/or received by a particular operator.

  b) Capture received acknowledgement

  c) Identify operator based on IP address or group of IP network range which belongs to the operator

  d) Categorize the size of each MM sent and/or received by a particular operator. E.g Cat 1 (0-100 bytes), Cat 2 (101-200 bytes)

  e) Generate billing record base on different tariff rate set for different operator
  
  

• The Hub is able to generate management reports on a weekly and/or monthly basis. The management report comprise of the following information:

  a) Total number of MM sent through the MMS Hub and the total byte volume, including the number of MM that falls under each size category

  b) Total number of MM sent by each operator and to which operator is the MM being sent to.
  

• The operators is able to view their respective management report via internet based on:

  a) The accounting period

  b) Flexi-period whereby the operator can specify the period of the report which they want to see.

  
  
• The Hub is self-maintainable as it can perform automated backup of important files and database.
  
  
• The Hub is able to expand or upgrade without affecting the live traffic.

Capacity

The MMS Hub multi threaded, its architecture can support thousands of messages per second depending upon the content personalization and user preference.

Scalability

The MMS Hub is highly scalable to support from thousands to millions of end users. It starts with capacity levels as low as 1 message/second to 200 messages/second.

SSPEC's SMS Hub is similar to MMS Hub which caters the delivery of SMS between different operators, it has the following features:
